After changing the engine oil on the Ford Transit, you need to reset the control system that alerts you with an orange spanner light on the dashboard about the need for this operation. Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed, turn the ignition key to position two, press and hold down the brake and accelerator pedals fully for about fifteen seconds.

After this period, you will see the light flash; wait a few seconds and simultaneously release both pedals; you will see the light turn off, indicating that the reset has been successful.
