How to remove the airbag from the steering wheel of a Ford Kuga MK2

In this video, we see how to remove the airbag module from the steering wheel of a Ford Kuga MK2. In this case, the operation is shown on a workbench, with the steering wheel already removed. However, it is an operation that can also be done with the steering wheel still mounted on the column. First, we must disconnect the battery. This is very important to avoid the airbag exploding in our face. Then, we must turn the steering wheel all the way to the right until we find a small hole on the column. We insert a small screwdriver inside to release the first spring. Now, we turn the steering wheel to the other side and repeat the same operation. We can remove the module by disconnecting the electrical connector and using a flat-head screwdriver.
