How to reset the service light on a Ford Transit MK8

The procedure for resetting the service is correct and standard for all MK8 models: let’s sit in the driver's seat, insert the key, and turn it to the second position to activate the instrument panel, without pressing the clutch pedal. With the key in the "on" position, press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. Keep them pressed for 10/15 seconds. After this time, we will see the message "oil life reset in progress" appear and the warning light will start to flash. Continue to hold until the message disappears or the flashing changes rhythm. At that point, release the pedals and turn off the vehicle. Wait at least 30/40 seconds and start the engine normally. The warning light will be off.
