How to Change the Engine Oil in a Ford Kuga

To change the engine oil in a Ford Kuga, park the vehicle on a stable surface and allow the engine to cool slightly to make the lubricant more fluid. Safely lift the car and place a drain pan under the engine. Remove the oil filler cap and unscrew the drain plug, allowing the used oil to completely drain out. Once the draining is complete, replace the drain plug, changing the sealing washer if necessary, and tighten it properly. Then unscrew the old oil filter and install the new one, lubricating its seal with a small amount of fresh oil. Pour in the new lubricant according to the manufacturer's specified quantity, wait a few minutes, and check the level with the dipstick. Finally, start the engine for a few moments, check for leaks, and recheck the level, topping up if necessary.
