How to Reset the Oil Service Light on a Ford Escape?

On the Ford Escape, after changing the oil and the corresponding filter, you need to reset the oil service light. First, turn on the ignition without starting the engine and wait for the complete initialization. At this point, press and hold the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal simultaneously for about 20 seconds. During this time, you will see a message on the display indicating that the procedure is in progress, followed by a notification that the reset is complete. For further confirmation, you can restart the instrument cluster.
