Replacing the battery in a Ford Explorer is a very simple operation; let's see how to proceed in this video. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition, open the engine bonnet, and connect a jump battery to the terminals of the battery to be replaced.

At this point, using a 10mm spanner, loosen the two nuts that secure the terminals to the posts and disconnect them, starting with the negative. Using the 10mm spanner again, unscrew the lower securing bolt and remove the old battery.

Finally, fit the replacement by following the exact reverse procedure.
