Instructions for Replacing the Diesel Filter

The diesel filter for the vehicle in question is located between the engine oil filler cap and the brake fluid reservoir: first, remove the metal protection to access the filter container (it is indeed a cartridge-type filter); then unscrew the fixing screws of the cover and lift it out, extracting the filter as well; remove the old cartridge and the o-ring gasket from the cover, insert the new gasket and the new filter, seat it correctly ensuring the gasket adheres properly, and tighten the screws of the cover.
