How to Reset the SERVICE Light on a Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 6 - Years 2000-2006
Part: Service warning light

To turn off the SERVICE light, first switch off the engine and the instrument cluster. Press and hold the accelerator pedal fully, turn the ignition key to activate ONLY the instrument cluster. While holding the accelerator pedal, wait until the SERVICE light on the cluster goes off. At that point, turn the key to switch off the cluster, release the accelerator pedal, and turn the ignition key again to turn on the instrument cluster and check that the SERVICE light is off.
