In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the transmission position sensor in the Ford F-150 pickup, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that the engine is completely cold.

Start by lifting the front of the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions, then go underneath and locate the sensor, which is positioned right above the transmission oil pan. Next, disconnect the control cable from the mechanism, unscrew the mounting bolts, and remove the sensor from its housing.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
