Ford Mondeo / Fusion - Video tutorial
Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion
MK 1
- Years 1993-2000 If during the braking phase you feel the brake pedal vibrate under the foot or even the steering wheel vibrates, then it means that there is a problem of deformation of the brake discs or in any case an eccentric rotation of the same which could be caused by oxidation of the seat of the brake. disc on the hub or the bearing of the hub itself. Then lift the car with a jack and remove the front wheel (if the disc is held in place by the wheel fixing nuts, screw them in again); then use a digital comparator or feeler to check any eccentricity in the rotation of the disc: set the dial gauge to zero and rotate the disc, evaluating the change in the feeler, considering that the acceptable tolerance is 0, 1 mm; since in this case there is no tolerance, remove the brake caliper, the support and the disc itself to clean the hub seat and the disc itself; repeat the check and if the problem persists check the rotation of the hub itself: if in this case the eccentricity exceeds 0.05 mm then there is a problem in the hub bearing.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto? To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood. by ScegliAuto More videos
