How to Replace the Oxygen Sensor in a Ford Escape?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the oxygen sensor in a Ford Escape. The first steps to ensure safety are to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and make sure the engine and exhaust are completely cool. Once that is done, raise the rear of the vehicle with a jack, taking all necessary precautions, and locate the sensor at the end of the exhaust. At this point, apply penetrating spray if necessary and remove the sensor with a 22mm wrench. To tighten the replacement, use a torque wrench set to 33 lb-ft.
