Oil Change and Reset the Warning Light on Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost ST Line

In this video, learn how to perform a quick service on your Ford Fiesta MK7, including resetting the service light. First, drain the old oil from the engine by lifting the vehicle and allowing it to flow into a suitable container: dispose of it at an authorised centre. Raise the dipstick for better drainage. The oil filter is located between the radiator hoses, making it quite awkward: the oil outlet is at the front, behind the radiator. Be careful to avoid spilling oil. Clean thoroughly with a degreaser and lubricate the seal of the new filter before installation; do not overtighten it. Remove the engine cover (which is foam and quite fragile) to clean it, and refill the engine oil: 4.8 litres of SAE 5W20. Start the engine to fill the filter and check the level. Replacing the air filter is very simple. Disconnect the MAF sensor plug and open the two metal clips holding the filter. Clean the housing of dust and debris and place the new filter. Reassemble everything and reconnect the MAF. Now, close the under-engine cover. The cabin filter is located on the left side of the front passenger footwell: under the plastic cover, you will find the filter cap. Again, clean the housing, replace the new filter, and close everything. Now perform the reset: turn on the ignition. Scroll through the various information messages using the "OK" button and go to "settings", select "oil life" confirm and hold down the "OK" button until the reset is complete.
