This video shows how to reset the maintenance light on a 2015 Ford Ranger. The procedure is simple, does not require tools or software, and takes less than 1 minute to complete. To reset the light, first turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine, turning the key to position 2; then press and hold the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal simultaneously for about 20 seconds until the light starts flashing. When the light begins to flash, release the pedals, turn off the ignition, and start the engine. At this point, the reset will be complete and the maintenance light will no longer be present on the instrument cluster.
