This video demonstrates how to clean and potentially replace the cabin temperature sensor in a Ford Fiesta MK6, which is hidden behind the grille located in the centre console on the driver's side. Remove the small cover beneath the radio control panel, then take off the plastic trim surrounding the gear lever, and from there, remove the air conditioning control section in the centre console. Behind it, there are four screws and electrical connectors that illuminate the buttons to disconnect: this allows you to remove the climate control unit, giving access to a "sleeve" (the sensor of interest) that you can pull out, clean, and then refit. Alternatively, you can replace it by finding it on eBay with the code 394499977905 for £30.00 plus £10.00 for delivery.
