If the engine delivery of the Ford Focus has become irregular and starting is difficult, the cause may be a dirty MAF sensor. To clean it, open the bonnet, locate the sensor body near the air filter, disconnect the electrical connectors, and loosen the clamp on the outlet pipe.

Remove the filter box, turn it upside down, and unscrew the two screws that secure the sensor body, unscrew the sensor from the mount, and clean it with a specific spray cleaner. Wait for the sensor to dry and reassemble all parts in reverse order.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
