The procedure for replacing the timing belt on the Ford C-Max involves opening the hood, so that it is possible to loosen the screws that secure the panel protecting the left side of the engine block: furthermore, it will be necessary to unscrew the screws that secure the front right wheel, removing it together with its fender. By doing this, it will be possible to loosen the central nut of the belt tensioner pulley, reducing the tension and removing the belt from its housing; the new replacement part can now be inserted, then verifying that everything works correctly.
