Before restoring engine oil life, vehicle maintenance such as changing engine oil and filters must be performed; after carrying out the do-it-yourself service, get into the car, start the vehicle, use the keyboard on the right side of the steering wheel to navigate to the vehicle information, then once on the information page (i), scroll to down until you get to Engine Oil life, now press the scroll wheel and it will ask if you want to reset, then use the arrow keys to select 'YES', then press the scroll wheel to confirm the reset of oil life.
