This video illustrates the procedure for replacing the more oil and its filter on a Hyunday Santa Fe. The materials needed are listed first: a 17mm wrench, a 10mm ratchet wrench with extension, new engine oil and a new filter. After opening the bonnet it is necessary, with the 10 mm wrench, to unscrew the bolts of the plastic cover and remove it. Now it is necessary to locate the oil pan in the lower part of the car, unscrew the cap and let the old oil flow into a collection tray. While the oil comes out we go to remove the filter cap and to do so we help ourselves with a socket wrench. We remove both the cap and the old filter and replace the latter with the new one. Now you have to remove the old gasket with a screwdriver and replace it with a new one; we also change the small one located at the end of the cap after which we grease them both and screw the filter cap back on. Now (after the liquid has completely flowed out) it is necessary to screw the sump bolt back on and then add the new oil (about 5, 25 liters). Now all that remains is to measure the oil level with the dipstick and turn the car on to check the warning light (located at the bottom right of the on-board computer). Lastly, close the engine cover.
