Lift the car with a column lift/jack and unscrew the oil sump plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container (tighten the plug after draining). Use a strap wrench to unscrew the container where the oil filter is located; remove the old filter and install a new one, ensuring it adheres well around the walls of the housing. Lower the car, then open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Finally, refit the oil filter cap, tighten the screws, and top up with new oil.
