Raise the car on a lift, remove the right front wheel and then the wheel arch cover to access the crankshaft pulley; loosen the auxiliary belt tensioner and remove it from the pulleys; then disassemble the pulley of the water pump to gain access to the pins of the destruction certer. Then rotate the crankshaft pulley until the timing references align and then remove it. Remove the spark plug pipettes and the tappet cover; remove the engine support after applying a support jack under the engine itself; before proceeding with the disassembly of the timing cover, drain the engine oil through the sump drain plug and disassemble the sump itself; then remove all the fixing pins of the timing cover. Once the casing has been removed from the top, start disassembling the lower part of the timing chain starting from the relative tensioners and sliding guides; repeat the procedure for the upper section of the chain. Proceeding backwards, install the new chains with the relative tensioners and guides; reassemble what was previously removed (it is advisable to replace the crankcase gasket) and fill the engine with new oil before restarting it.
