How to Reset the Oil Light on a Jeep Cherokee?

The procedure to reset the engine oil light is not difficult to perform and is the same for all recent Jeep models. First, insert the key and turn on the instrument cluster to access the various screens on the display. Using the arrows on the steering wheel, specifically on the left side, scroll through the options until you reach the one labelled "oil life" which will show the remaining life of your engine oil as a percentage. Press the OK button on the steering wheel for a few seconds to reset the light and return the value to 100%.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
