Replace the Timing Belt on Lancia Lybra

Model: Lancia Lybra MK 1 - Years 1998-2005

Prepare to replace the timing belt on Lancia Lybra: lift the car on a column lift or jack (if necessary, remove the front wheel using a screwdriver to detach the right wheel arch liner). Once these operations are completed: lift the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the belt cover. Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt out of its seat. After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the correct belt tension is achieved (as previously installed). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself.
