How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Freelander

Is your car not working? Is fuel no longer reaching the engine? Here’s how to replace the fuel pump. Open and lift the rear boot; remove the covering of the boot. Use a socket to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap, then remove it from its seat, using absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks. Unscrew the plastic nut of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation tubes. Extract the fuel pump from its seat along with any attached components. Install the new fuel pump.
