Removing the Battery from Freelander 2

Replacing the battery on a Freelander 2? The car battery is located in the engine bay. Open the car's bonnet and release the catch lever. Remove the plastic cover from the battery cover. Start loosening the securing bolts of the battery terminals with a suitable socket wrench. Remove the old battery using the plastic handle and fit a new one, tightening the power terminals. After reassembling all parts to the battery, close the compartment with the cover. Start the vehicle and test the operation of all electrical systems.
