How to Reset the DPF Light on a Mazda 6

To reset the DPF light on a Mazda 6, go inside the cabin and turn on the instrument panel. Once this is done, ensure that all diagnostic cables are connected to the ground, as shown in the video. At this point, press the accelerator pedal five times, noting that the glow plug light will start to flash on the dashboard. Now, turn off the instrument panel and start the car: when the engine is running, you will notice that the DPF light previously displayed in the centre of the screen is now off.
