Replacing the Battery on Mazda 3

Working with the engine off and the handbrake engaged, lift the bonnet and secure it with the support rod. Undo the four 10 mm nuts and disconnect the two terminals: in these cases, always remember to start with the negative terminal and only then move to the positive for electrical safety reasons, proceeding in reverse when installing the new battery. Undo the nuts that secure the battery bracket (which keeps it in place), remove the old battery and insert the new one, proceeding in reverse until fully reassembled.
