Operation: How to convert door locking from mechanical to centralized

Using a specific kit you can convert the door locks of your car from mechanical to centralized. First of all you have to remove the door panel, starting by removing the clip from the window lifter crank. Then unscrew the shell behind the door opening handle. Carefully remove the screw caps from the armrest and take it apart. Pry with a bladed tool to remove the speaker bezel. Now lever to remove the door panel. Partially remove the film. Now mount the actuator support bracket bearing in mind that the actuator must be parallel to the control rod of the lock at an angle of approximately 20 degrees. Now connect the actuator to the control rod of the lock using the rod and clamp supplied with the kit. Connect the wires between the actuator and the control unit following the corresponding color and passing them through the door, taking care that they do not interfere with the movement of the window and letting them come out together with the other standard cables. Then attach the connector to the control unit and connect the latter with the red cable to a power cable (for example from the ignition lock) and with the black cable to a ground. Now you just have to check the correct operation, fix the control unit with clamps or supports and reassemble the door panel. Obviously, the work must also be repeated on the other door.
