Operation: Replacing the tappet cover gasket

If the upper part of the engine is smeared with oil, then it is likely that there is a leak caused by the deterioration of the tappet cover gasket; to replace this gasket, start by removing the plastic cover on the engine and then disassemble the engine air filter box applied right above the engine by disconnecting the relative ducts; then disconnect the sockets from the ignition coils, unscrew the relative fixing pins and extract them from their respective seats and then unscrew the tappet cover fixing screws applied along the contour and disconnect the vapor recovery in order to remove it from its seat; under the lid there is a special groove inside which the gasket is placed.
