How to Dismantle and Reassemble the Washer Fluid Pump

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009

In the next video, a skilled guide will show how to access the washer fluid pump to dismantle and reinstall it. First, lift the lever located under the steering wheel to open the bonnet. Next, proceed to remove the front bumper (raise the car on a ramp, unscrew all the screws, remove the black panel underneath the car, and disconnect all connectors and sensors). Then, extract the light unit (you will need to unscrew all its screws and bolts and disconnect all cables). At this point, underneath it is the pump, which you will drain and disconnect its cables. Finally, dismantle it by unscrewing the bolts that hold it to the car. To reinstall it, perform all the previously mentioned operations in reverse, but first, ensure to replace the gasket.
