Removing the Door Panel of a Mercedes Vito

Let's proceed with removing the door panel of a Mercedes Vito (driver's side). Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Use a lever or screwdriver to remove the handle cover, unscrewing the screws underneath. Unscrew the remaining screws around the perimeter of the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Grasp the panel with your hands and lever it off the door. Finally, disconnect the power terminals for the window lifter, the speaker located in the handle, and the tension cable for the door release lever.
