How to reset the ESP light on a Mercedes C-Class

In this video, we see how to reset the ESP warning light error on a Mercedes C-Class: this problem occurs due to the loss of steering angle calibration when the battery is disconnected. To solve the problem, there is a calibration procedure: turn on the ignition, turn the steering wheel fully to the left and hold this position for 2/3 seconds, then do the same to the right. Return the steering wheel to the center, turn off the car completely by removing the key and wait for a few seconds. Start the engine: the ESP warning light should have turned off and the system should be operational again. This procedure is necessary to indicate to the control unit what the "zero point" of the steering wheel is. For the airbag warning light, a diagnostic tool is required because they are critical safety features and require precise diagnostics.
