How do you maintain your Mercedes C-Class? This guide explains how to replace the battery: open the car door and pull up the engine hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front hood, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery in the upper left; remove the battery terminal bolts with the appropriate wrench, then take it out of the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the hood after maintenance.
