How to replace engine oil and filter on a Mercedes CLK? Follow this guide: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the large securing bolt of the oil filter cap. Lift the car on a jack (or a column lift) and unscrew the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Finally, top up with new oil and close the front bonnet.
