How to replace the battery? This guide explains how to replace the battery in a Mercedes C-Class. Open the car door and pull up the hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the hood, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to be replaced at the top right. Remove the securing pins from the battery terminals and take the battery out of the engine compartment; replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the hood after maintenance.
