Oil Change Kit for Mercedes 7-G Tronic

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the oil change kit for the Mercedes 7-G Tronic. First, you need to have an oil change kit. Put the transmission in Neutral and the ignition key in position 0. Lift the vehicle on a work platform. Rotate the engine in the engine's rotational direction to find the drain bolt of the torque converter. Unscrew the drain bolt of the converter and drain the ATF oil. Tighten the M8 drain bolt with a torque of 7 lb-ft on the converter. Remove the oil pan and let it drip. Remove the old hydraulic filters. Clean the oil pan; now attach the new gasket and reinstall the oil pan, allowing it to drip. Clean the oil pan again, attach the new gasket, and place the new magnets. The 7-G Tronic transmission requires a high-performance Smart Media hydraulic filter with reduced friction. Use the new high-performance Smart Media hydraulic filter from the MEYLE-ORIGINAL oil change kit. Tighten the oil pan lightly and then follow the torque instructions. Tighten the oil pan with a cross wrench to 3 lb-ft. Tighten the oil pan with a 180-degree rotation above the cross. Reattach the sheet metal support of the screen.
