Monitoring the temperature of the automatic transmission oil can be useful, especially if the vehicle is to be used under heavy load conditions, such as towing a trailer or caravan. The installation of the gauge is very simple: start by removing the cover of the centre tunnel to attach the gauge display; pass the wiring through the designated grommet under the airbag control unit to reach the gearbox where the temperature sensor will be screwed in; then make the electrical connection as per the diagram.
