To carry out the service of the car it is necessary to proceed as follows: open the bonnet and locate the oil filter located in the upper part of the engine compartment, next to the dipstick of the level of the oil. Loosen the oil filter cover and open the oil filling cover. Lift the machine and locate the oil tank drain plug. With a 13 wrench, unscrew the cap not before placing a container on the floor for the recovery of used oil. Wait for all the oil to drain out and refit the cap. Go back up to the engine compartment and take out the oil filter and replace it and also replace the gasket, replace the filter cap and screw it back on. Then proceed to fill the circuit with new oil and check the level. On the upper part of the engine compartment near the windscreen in the central part, there is a plastic cover that must be released and lifted. Inside there is the passenger compartment filter and clean / replace it. To replace the engine air filter it is necessary to unscrew the support screws of the engine control unit panel, lift the control unit under which the filter is located. Finally, to replace the spark plugs it is necessary to disassemble the whole group that contains the filter, remove the air connection pipe. In this way it will be possible to access the candles. Unhook the pipettes and, with a 16 mm wrench, unscrew them and then reassemble the new ones.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
