Coolant Replacement

Replace the engine cooling system fluid with the appropriate antifreeze to keep the system efficient over time, preventing the formation of deposits and ensuring that there is no risk of freezing in extremely low temperatures. Perform this maintenance with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Open the expansion tank cap and unscrew the drain plug under the radiator to drain the cooling system fluid (consider flushing the system by filling and draining it until the fluid runs clear); screw the drain plug back in and fill the system with the appropriate antifreeze mixture until reaching the maximum level in the tank: check the level after starting the engine and reaching operating temperature to allow the thermostat valve to open, also turning on the cabin heater.
