Learn how to replace the engine oil and filter on a Mercedes C-Class W203. To perform this job, safely lift the vehicle. Use a pair of jack stands to keep the vehicle elevated. Remove the lower cover of the car to access the oil pan. Clean the fastening bolt with a wire brush and then spray it with WD-40. Drain the oil into a suitable container, which should then be disposed of at an authorized collection center. Remember that it is better to replace the oil pan plug along with its gasket. It's a precautionary measure and costs only a few dollars. Now, change the oil filter, which is accessed from the top on this vehicle. Perform the operation over a tray and replace the O-rings and the filter. Reinstall the filter in its place. Replace the plug if all the oil has drained and also reinstall the lower cover that you removed. You can refill with SAE 5W-40 oil.
