How to Replace the EGR Valve on a Nissan Qashqai

To replace the EGR valve on a Nissan Qashqai, open the vehicle's bonnet and locate the valve near the intake manifold, connected to the exhaust gas ducts. Before starting, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety. Remove any engine covers and disconnect the electrical connector of the valve along with the hoses or pipes connected. Next, unscrew the bolts securing the EGR valve to the engine and exhaust duct, then carefully extract it from its seat. Before fitting the new component, clean the contact surfaces thoroughly and replace the gaskets if necessary. Then install the new valve in the reverse order of removal, reconnect all connectors and pipes, and finally start the engine, checking for warning lights or operational anomalies.
