How to change the fuel filter on an Opel Vectra C

Model: Vauxhall Vectra Vectra C, MK 3 - Years 2002-2008

Let's see how to change the fuel filter of the Opel Vectra C with reference to the 1.9 CDTI engine with cartridge filter. We open the hood, disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel pump, in order to avoid creating pressure, then start the engine and let it run until it turns off on its own, to release the residual pressure. The filter is located on the left side, near the windshield: disconnect the electrical connectors and fuel lines, unscrew the support, remove the old filter, insert the new filter and reconnect the fuel lines, then put the electrical connector back in place. Do not immediately restart the engine. Turn on the ignition for 10/15 seconds, then turn it off and repeat this operation 3/4 times, so as not to stress the starter motor. Now we can start the engine. Check for leaks and you're done.
