How to Reset the Service Light on Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra K - Years 2015-2022

To reset the service light on an Opel Astra, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu. Scroll through the various options until you find the "Engine Oil Life" or "Service" option. Once displayed, press and hold the OK or SET/CLR button for a few seconds. A confirmation request for the reset will appear on the display: continue to hold the button until the indicator is reset. At this point, turn off the instrument panel and turn it back on to verify that the maintenance light has been correctly reset and that the new service interval has been set.
