Turn off the engine and disconnect the battery, then locate the throttle body, which in petrol engines is found between the air filter and the intake manifold, while in diesel engines it is connected to the EGR, often with an integrated MAP sensor. For disassembly, remove the air hose by loosening the clamps and disconnecting the post-air filter hose, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the PCV valve. Spray the cleaner inside the throttle body (avoiding forcing it manually). Let it sit for about ten minutes to dissolve carbon deposits, then remove the dirt: the MAP sensor must be cleaned with a specific spray. Once cleaned, reconnect the electrical connector and the air hose, along with the PCV valve hoses. Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and wait a couple of minutes for the throttle to self-calibrate, then start the engine and let it idle for 5 minutes.
