Displaying Error Codes on the Onboard Computer

Modern vehicles are equipped with computers that facilitate maintenance and detect potential engine problems. With the engine off, to view these error codes, press the brake pedal and the accelerator fully and hold them down throughout the operation. Turn the ignition key as if to start the engine, but do not start it; the service display should flash. Every 10 flashes, a digit will be displayed for four digits indicating the error code; in this case, the digit 0170 is displayed. The error code can be identified by searching online.

How to Replace the Remote Battery for the Volvo XC40?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in the remote for the Volvo XC40, a very simple and quick operation. For this, you will need a replacement battery of type CR2032 and possibly a small flathead screwdriver. First, remove the front cover by pressing the button on the metal ring, then locate the second button, press it as well, and remove the opposite cover. Next, open the circular cap, take out the old battery, and insert the new one in the opposite direction. Finally, reassemble everything.
