Replacing the Water Pump on the Opel Agila

To replace the water pump on this car model, follow the step-by-step instructions below for a proper replacement. First, remove the front right wheel and take off the screws securing the inner wing. Then, lift the bonnet to remove the air intake and outlet duct to the filter, and also remove the filter itself. Unscrew the screws of the upper timing belt cover and loosen the screws securing the pump to the block. Next, disconnect the belt and hold the crankshaft in place by locking it with a peg. Finally, remove the bolts securing the right engine mount, then take off the pump pulley and unscrew the support screws of the pump to the block.
