In this video, learn how to remove and replace the timing belt and tensioner on a Fiat Punto. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the engine, then use a socket wrench to detach the water pump located in the engine bay. Next, use a spanner to loosen the tensioner and slide the belt off its seat. With a socket wrench, unscrew the tensioner bolt and remove it from the engine bay. Install the new tensioner and belt, tightening everything with the spanner. Finally, reinstall the securing bolts of the wheel arch liner and remount the wheel with the tyre on the vehicle.
