How to change the battery of the Peugeot 308 key.

On the Peugeot 308, the remote control battery is changed by opening the key without damaging the plastic, so the first step is to work calmly on the body of the key. In the video, it starts by removing the emergency metal key: once freed, the slot where leverage is applied to separate the two halves of the shell becomes visible. At this point, still on the Peugeot 308 key, a small flat tool is inserted into the gap and a slight twist is made to open the casing. The shell separates, revealing the internal part, where the battery compartment is visible. The battery is lifted from its seat and replaced with a new one, being careful to place it in the same position as the old one. Once the replacement is complete, the Peugeot 308 key is closed by aligning the two halves until they snap back together, then the metal key is reinserted into its housing. Finally, it is checked that everything is stable and that the remote control buttons are free and do not get "stuck.
