How to solve some problems of the Peugeot 208 by cleaning the throttle body.

Let's see how we can solve some problems with the Peugeot 208 by simply cleaning the throttle body. If we have symptoms such as: irregular slowing down, especially at idle; stuttering acceleration; increased fuel consumption and engine warning light, then cleaning becomes necessary. Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery, loosen the air tube clamp, unlock the airbox and remove it; disconnect the electrical connector, unscrew the 4 Allen screws that secure the throttle body to the manifold, and remove the throttle valve. To clean it, use a specific cleaner like Liqui Moly, which we can find on Amazon with the code B00295DCTK at the price of 10.96 euros, with free delivery for Prime customers. Spray it on a cloth and manually clean the throttle, then clean the screw seats and the mating surface on the manifold. Then proceed to reassemble all the parts we removed, reconnect the battery, and start the engine.
