How to replace engine oil and filter on Porsche 911? Follow these steps: Open the rear hood and lift it up, secure it, and remove the oil filler cap. Lift your Porsche on a column lift; using a socket wrench, remove the large retaining bolt from the container where the oil filter is located.

Bring the car back to the ground, then remove the used oil filter and install a new one. Finally, refill with new oil (check the oil level with the dipstick) and close the rear hood.
