In this video, see how to replace the automatic transmission fluid in a RAM 1500 by following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing all the side screws from the transmission oil pan; then let the fluid drain into a container. At this point, remove and replace the oil filter; now reattach the pan after replacing the gasket, and pour in the new engine oil using a funnel, removing the fill cap. Now start the engine and check the fluid level in the transmission.
